Collection: Red Door Family Shelter

The Red Door Family Shelter is a shelter community located in Toronto’s east end, comprised of a 55-bed Violence Against Women shelter, a 106-bed family shelter and an active Outreach Program. For almost 40 years, the Red Door has provided emergency shelter and support for women and children affected by domestic abuse, families experiencing a housing crisis, and refugee claimants with nowhere else to turn. One of the largest family shelters in the city, the Red Door provides shelter and support to over 350 families every year.
